Dr. Stephanie Costa was born in Defiance, Ohio. She received her Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She completed her medical training at the Ohio State University in 1994. Dr. Costa completed her Ob/Gyn residency at the Ohio State University in 1998. She is a member of the American Medical Association as well as the Ohio State Medical Association. She is a board certified physician and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Costa enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family. She has been in private practice with Kingsdale Gynecologic Associates, Inc. since 2000, and is a clinical associate professor at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
