After growing up in Cambridge, Ohio, Dr. Jason Sayat attended Duke University where he graduated with honors. He received a bachelor’s degree with specialties in biology and neuroscience. He then went on to receive his medical school training from The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Sayat completed his residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2002 and was in practice for five years prior to joining Kingsdale Gynecologic Associates in 2007. He practices at the Wedgewood/Powell and Lane Avenue locations. He currently holds practicing privileges at both Riverside Methodist Hospital and The Ohio State University Medical Center.

For Dr. Sayat, the decision to pursue a career in medicine was simple—his mother an obstetrician and gynecologist and his father a general surgeon, exposed him to medicine from an early age. But when asked what made him decide to pursue obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Sayat replied, “I was inspired by my mother and wanted to be a part of the continuing advancements in women’s health. By practicing in obstetrics an gynecology, I am able to make an impact on the lives of my patients and their children.”

Dr. Sayat’s specialties include general obstetrics and gynecology. He has added interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He is credentialed to perform robotic surgery and in-office surgical procedures. Dr. Sayat is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. Sayat and his wife, Linbee, reside in Columbus with their two children, Jacob and Alana. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in music and playing sports.
