
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS:
- Vaginal bleeding, no matter how slight (with the exception of a small amount of spotting after a pelvic exam by your doctor which may be normal)
- Extreme swelling of your hands, feet, or face
- Blurry or changed vision or any persistent or recurrent dizziness
- Severe or continuous headache that does not respond to Tylenol
- Abdominal or lower back pain or pressure that does not respond to rest or Tylenol
- Chills or fever over 101 degrees
- Persistent vomiting especially if you are unable to hold down liquids or if you have unsuccessful relief of morning sickness with home remedies
- Pain or burning with urination
- Exposure to chicken pox (varicella) or fifth’s disease (parvovirus) especially if you are not immune or if you are unsure of your immunity
- Sudden or slow escape of fluid from the vagina
- Unusual vaginal discharge, especially if it is discolored or has an odor
- More than 6 contractions per hour if you are more than 3 weeks from your due date
- Decreased fetal movement or no fetal movement after 21 weeks gestation
